My Old Friend Death

Tick Tock the old grandfather clock beckons me to its side.
It tells me that death is near, that there is nowhere to hide.
I feel my life slowly wither away.
On my knees I beg my soul to stay.
I lie there and breathe my final breath,
As I welcome the embrace of my old friend death.
